Grab an eBike or regular bike to join one of the Wellington City Council bike tours of the new bike infrastructure

Various tour times available- Please register for the tour first, then book your bike for the same time as the event! Bike pick ups are set 30min prior to the tour start time. 

• 11:30am bike pick up for Guided rides with Pedal Ready (Event time: 12pm – 2pm)
• 12:00pm onward Scavenger hunt (self-directed activity)- no need to book, just swing in to Switched on Bikes to grab a bike
• 12:30 bike pick up for a Social ride with Frocks on Bikes (Event time: 1pm – 3.30pm)
• 1:30pm bike pick up for Find your Off-Road Commute (Event time: 2pm – 4pm)
• 2:00pm bike pick up for Community Spaces guided ride with Pedal Ready (Event time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm)
• 4:00pm bike pick up for Sunset ride and Picnic with Bicycle Junction (Event time 4.30pm – 7pm)

For events that end in Island Bay, you can leave the bike there or ride back to the city in your own time to return the bike.

SPECIAL DEALS TO KEEP RIDING

• You can keep the bike for the rest of the day and return it to Switched on Bikes by 5:30pm- no extra cost
  
• Or keep the bike overnight and return to Switched on Bikes between 8:30 - 9:30am the following day- no extra cost
• Ride the whole of the following day, returning the bike to Switched on Bikes by 5:30pm the next day- add $45
  
• Keep the bike for the week, return by 5:30pm on Friday- add $245
  
• eBike Subscriptions available from $59 per week or $16 per week for Community Services Card Holders
• When you book your bike, your card details are held securely by our system as security
